In the ancient years of my teenage life I went out for one beer … and St Patrick’s Day Don’t Blink Just Drink Doctor Brew shirt, I went out to the block to throw garbage, and there I met a dumpster under the dumpster who just “went out for one beer”, so after getting rid of the junk ballast I went with him to the nearby poor pub. In the same shrine of baptized consorts, wine branded on cups and gastronomic tops in the form of frozen microwave pizza (don’t judge, in a small town a decade ago there wasn’t much choice), we noticed a group of friends sitting at a table and packaged backpacks next to them base. Having bought a questionable drink (because it’s now a shame to call beer) we sat down and asked where they were going.
