Yep. DoorDash admitted they have problems finding dashers to accept Stay home snuggle Cats shirt orders and went back to the negotiating table with Walmart to change the tip scheme. Knowing what I know about IT, I bet part of the issue was a technical one with Walmart’s obviously large and busy existing website. Integrating tips and a DoorDash payment scheme with the existing Walmart website may have been easier with the first contract of letting customers tip AFTER the order. My guess is that changing to tipping first required additional integration work which is why it’s taking a while. But, I’m a nerd and throw out random guess work with no actual knowledge of this particular deal.
