Imperial Fist Terra shirt
A long time ago, I used to work with a Imperial Fist Terra shirt who was a nice guy. He would try to keep some stamps just in case one of his customers needed one. One day, a customer gave him her utility bill without postage, and asked him to put a stamp on it to mail. Well, it was the day before he took a 2 week vacation out of the country. Somehow, he forgot about it, and left the letter in his pouch. When he returned from vacation the customer was getting letters for disconnection. Mail carriers are nor being rude when they don’t sell someone a postage stamp. It is not against the rules to do it, but it is a huge responsibility.

Our mailboxes at my place of employment are locked and he has a Imperial Fist Terra shirt. I think most mail carriers have like a ‘master key’ (like vending machine employees use to open all those pop and candy machines.) which will open the face of the mailbox at apartments, office buildings, etc. If it’s a private mailbox, unless the owner has given access to his carrier, if there isn’t a slot, they won’t be able to leave any mail for them.
I’ll put the Imperial Fist Terra shirt (leave him be to do his job, it’s against policy, etc) for you. You’ll have to just start driving around looking for them really. I suggest doing a gradually widening corkscrew pattern starting from your block. Drive around a 4 block square, then 6 block square, and so on. The trucks are usually pretty easy to spot. If you’re lucky and it’s a light day, they’re in a good mood, and they recognise you, odds are good they’ll go out of their way to help you. I have a number of times. If you’re really needing a package or letter they left a notice for, you can call the local office and see how they can help. In larger cities you’ll probably not get far, but in the small town I work in, we’ve often made special arrangements outside of ‘procedure’. It usually entails waiting at the Post Office for that carrier to return from their day with it. Usually around 4:15 pm assuming a normal day. There’s even been instances when I’ve returned to the office in the middle of my day to meet the customer, but again I work in a small town and I’m never far from the station. If you’re in a bigger town or city you’re probably put of luck.
