I think you both are unclear about what I have said. I do not believe in banning this song or censorship in any way. I merely stated that we must recognize for Never mess with Auntie before she has her coffee shirt, this song takes them back to a terrible episode in their life. It does not bother me but I have never had those experiences. There are many veterans who cannot sit through Saving Private Ryan. It’s just a fact. I do not want that movie banned. However their reaction does help me to understand the trauma that they have had in their life. This debate is about awareness rather than just dismissing people’s feelings.
