Kathryn Lambkin A lot of American students do live on campus for the first few years, but most universities don’t mind if you live at home and commute to school (for example, I did what you did and just commuted while living at home). I know there are a few private universities that require freshmen to live on campus, but I don’t think that’s too common. As far as going to colleges/universities outside your city, some schools just have 3rd Anniversary Married For 3 Years Still A Great Pear shirt or some might just be better suited for a particular degree major than any college locally.
