My husband used to make a great living working in the film and television industry. Then they forced the kind of work he did into a Union… Then the writers Union decided to strike and so I am Black every month but this month I am Black Black Tee Shirt.. There was little work for my husband and guess who didn’t help? The stupid union that only collected money from him! Did they help him find more work? No! They sent threatening letters though saying that he had to “work more hours in order to keep his union status”! Not kidding! I agree some unions are necessary for safety or equality but I know of a lot of unions that just like to make money off of hard working people.
