The reason that gun ownership is import, is because it keeps the Federal government “in check.” Gun ownership in the US is not about hunting, it is about protection from the evils of the Game of Thrones mother of unicorns shirt. I personally have date and waited for over an hour for my local law enforcement to respond to a man we found dead on the side of the road. If they are incapable of learning how to operate a firearm safely, then they do not need a firearm.
