I’ve got a similar feeling, because I’m recovering from an illness. It used to be the case that I literally could not do things because I was incapable of Punta Cana Is Calling And I Must Go Tee Shirt, but now I’m mostly better, and I don’t have that excuse any more. I just got into a habit of being mostly bedridden, and therefore spending hours on end not doing anything, maybe meditating a bit, but otherwise losing habits of being responsible for myself. Now that I’m mostly better, I have to re-learn life skills and re-develop a work ethic, and let me tell you, the work ethic is a hard one to pick up. I had just gotten so used to having bedtime be all the time, it’s hard to pick up life where I left off.
