Alien I went to Area 51 and all I got was a t-shirt
My mom and dad came to America for a better life from Ireland. My dad as an adult by himself. My mom at 12 with her mom, dad, and one of her brothers and one of her sisters. My dad never went past 4th grade in Ireland but Alien I went to Area 51 and all I got was a t-shirt. He was a pipe fitter. He read the newspaper everyday. My mom finished 8th grade in America and then had to go to work as a maid. They met, got married and raised 4 children. Three college graduates and a union plumber. We were expected to complete our high school education at least. My parents were not less educated than us by choice. They didn’t have the opportunities we did. We were expected to take advantage of the opportunity they gave us. My parents both became citizens and loved the US. We were brought up to love America too. There are still people like this in the world today!
